Who is responsible for your information

Anaero Technology Limited (company number 08373880) is the data controller for information submitted through this website. Its registered office is Landsite 2, Cowley Road, Cambridge CB4 0DT. You can contact the company about privacy at contact@anaero.co.uk.

Information the form sends

When you submit an enquiry, the form sends your name, email address, message, the product or service you are asking about, and your organisation if you choose to provide it. It also sends the page where you submitted the form and, when available, the referring page. URL query parameters and fragments are not included.

How the information is used

Anaero Technology uses these details to understand and respond to your request, route it to the appropriate person, and keep a record of the enquiry. Submitting this form does not add you to a marketing mailing list.

The lawful basis is Anaero Technology's legitimate interest in responding to relevant business and research enquiries and maintaining a proportionate record of that correspondence. Where your enquiry concerns a possible contract, the information may also be used to take steps you request before entering that contract.

How the form is delivered

The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Enquiries pass through a first-party website function and are forwarded to Anaero Technology's Google Apps Script, where the enquiry can be added to a Google Sheet and sent to the team by email. These providers process the information as part of delivering and storing the enquiry.

Cloudflare and Google may process information outside the UK. Where they do, their applicable contractual and international-transfer safeguards govern that processing. You can ask Anaero Technology for more information about the providers and safeguards used.

How long the information is kept

Enquiry information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to resolve and follow up the request, manage any resulting business relationship, and meet applicable legal, accounting or dispute-resolution requirements. It is then deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed for those purposes.

Your choices and rights

Name, email address and message are required so the team can understand and respond to the enquiry; organisation is optional. The form is not used for solely automated decisions.

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of your information, or for its use to be restricted. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are not absolute in every situation.

You have the right to object to the use of your information for direct marketing.Anaero Technology does not use website enquiries to add people to a marketing mailing list.
